Content Warning
There aren’t any swears in this episode, but there is a section about Graveyard Valley where Squidgy and Lulu talk about performing autopsies, burying bodies, and burning witches. If these topics, even if talked about lightly in the frame of a video game, could upset you or other listeners, please skip the section between 13 minutes and 16 minutes into the episode.
Notes
First time that long time friend of the show, and Final Fantasy expert, Lulu has been on the show. She is a long time friend of GaProgMan and their friendship goes all the way back to their teenage years.
In the first part of her trilogy of episodes, we sit down to talk about the mythical Bacon Button, Oven Pride, the fact that we never read the script, and the games that we have been playing recently.
We talk about how Squidgy and I are terribly excited about the up-coming Resident Evil 2 (2019), and how we’ve been steering clear of all information on it
other than a handful of screenshots
We then talk about the re-release of Shenmue 1 & 2, how neither Squidgy or myself ever finished the second game, and how I’ll receive a copy of the third game as soon as it is released. Jeez, the third game has been in development for a very long time.
We also have a very strange conversation which starts with Lulu saying:
LuluI bury them all; I make sure that I do my autopsies correctly. Or I throw them in the river.
You’ll have to listen to the episode to see what the conversation is about.
We also cover our Desert Island Games
which is something that we promised in the previous episode (The Razz-Matazz Cast with B)
which we temporarily rename “Thunder Plain Games”. The rules of which are:
- You can have an Internet connected game, if you wish
- But you cannot tell anyone that you are stuck in the Thunder Plains or ask for help
You’ll have to listen in for the Thunder Plains Games that we chose. Let us know, in the comments, what your Thunder Plain Game would be and what you think of ours
