Show Notes

We’re back with B, and we start out with his unpopular opinion in video gaming

and it’s a real doosey

As a quick reminder, we’d been asked by White Mage

you’ll remember her from two earlier episodes of the podcast

Due to the recent changes at Twitter, we are unable to embed tweets at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Here is a reminder of our previous answers:

  • Mine was that you waste your money buying FIFA games

This is especially if you have the previous year’s game

  • Squidgeys was related to parents who blame video games for all of the world’s ills

It was a hard hitting conversation, and one for greater minds than ours to figure out

And B’s was:

…

pause for effect

Hideo Kojima is over rated. And both Squidgey and myself completely agree with him about that. And Peter Molenyuex, Lord British, and Cliffy B are too.

Then I lead us on a discussion on our favourite and least favourite controllers, based arounda wonderful tweet from Since Spacies on Twitter:

Due to the recent changes at Twitter, we are unable to embed tweets at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience.

We discuss our favourite and least favourite controllers. What are your favourite and least favourite controllers?

B’s Favourite was the Xbox 360 controller, closely followed by the dual shock; whereas his least favourite is the Atari Jaguar

pick your audience a little more carefully, B 😛

Squidgey went next and talked about the Steel Battalion control system, closely followed by the Donkey Conga; and his least favourite controller is the OG Atari joystick which is followed by mobile phones.

To mix things up, I decided to go with my least favourite

in fact, I call it the worst controller ever

which the Kinect; and my favourite controller was the mouse and keyboard.

Then Squidgey asked us what our favourite wrestling games are, and our answers might shock you

this almost became a BuzzFeed article, then

And we leave you with a discussion on B’s desert island games, and Squidgey reminiscing over watching B live stream himself playing the Resident Evil remake on twitch, leading to a conversation about Summer Games Done Quick.

Spoiler Break Music

We used an extra piece of music in this episode of the podcast (during the spoiler break). It’s an amazing, chilled out electronic track called “Spectrum (Subdiffusion Mix)” by Foniqz. The full version of the song is available at BandCamp
