well, part one of it is
A couple of things that you need to know going in:
- One instance of “Hey Siri!” and one “Alexa”
There’s one instance of someone saying “Hey Siri!”, so take care if you’re an iOS user or have Apple products laying about take care. There’s also one instance of an “Alexa!” so Echo owners will need headphones.
- There are a few J-Bombs
We didn’t want to censor ourselves - although we always make a point of keeping any swears out of the podcast. But I wanted to give you a heads up that there is, at least, one J-Bomb
what I’m calling a ‘JESUS CHRIST!’
in this episode. If these cause issues, then I’ll make a point of editing them out in the future. But please listen responsibly.
Show Notes
The second episode of our podcast is here.
The original recording is over 3 hours long, so I’ve decided to split it into three episodes and will be releasing them in a short burst over the next few days.
what holiday?
This time, we had twitter user and all round ace guy The_B in the studio. B is a long time friend of both myself and Squidgey, and he’s been working in the industry for a long time.
B provides a lot of information in his opinions of the games he’s been playing this month. You can really tell that he has been working in video games journalism for a long time. He also presents his theory on the level of security in the Mushroom Kingdom.
I then chime in with my theory on how Nintendo develop xtheir games, and this leads to a discussion on Western game development vs Eastern development.
B also drops some games charts knowledge on us as we cover EA’s removal of loot crates from Star Wars Battlefront II and how the Internet dealt with it - including the sense of entitlement that some gamers have over the games they play.
As this is the first of three parts, we only managed to cover the games that B had been playing, so here are the games he’s been playing:
B’s Recent Games
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Nintendo Switch
- Super Mario Odyssey - Nintendo Switch

Go follow B on twitter, he’s a pretty chill dude.
Tangent count
We counted two (explicit) tangents in the episode. How many did you count?
My Tash
SquidgeyFidget mentions that I am rocking a Yosemite Sam moustache. He’s not wrong, but it might be a bit of an over statement. What do you think?
